WebDec 20, 2013 · Side note on Sabian Cymbal Cleaner. Sabian said their cleaner wouldn't remove the mily white film from my cymbals because the cleaner is designed specifically so it won't affect the lacquer. Once I've tried cleaning the cymbals again (this time with lacquer stripper or copper cleaner), I'll post the results. WebJul 6, 2015 · Great stuff and should remove all that grime on your cymbal pretty easily. You may still have to do a little scrubing in a few spots but it's going to be alot easier to use than the Zildjian cleaner IMO. The logo's are kinda hit and miss in my experience.

To over come this I recommend using a wax after cleaning with the Brasso. I use a pure Carnuba wax.

WebThe problem being is that these cleaners are heavily abrasive, and will not only remove more material (though negligible immediately, over time it matters), but will easily strip your logos off if you're not careful. I personally don't care about my logos. With the heavier cleaners, spread on with a rag and cover the entire body of the cymbal.
