We also renamed the docx file to zip, opened that and was able to open the image in there to see that it was stored in the docx at 300 dpi, so the downsampling definitely seems to be happening on the output. WebThe simplest trick would be to resave each PDF as an AI using Illustrator and place that. InDesign can then tell you which ones have low-res embedded images. There’s no InDesign only solution afaik.
